Thank you SO much to all of you parents who came in last week to help with our globes. The children did an excellent job and they look fabulous. Be sure your calendars are marked for the Art Festival on April 19 so that you can see them on display.
Our Easter party is this Thursday, April 1 at 1:45 pm. Thanks to all of you who have signed up to provide something. You are welcome to join us, however younger siblings are not allowed. Hope to see you then!
School will be dismissed at 12 noon this Friday, April 2. There will be no Grace Grille service that day. School resumes on Monday, April 12.
· FIELD TRIP: Our next field trip will be Tuesday April 20. Please watch for flyer to come home on Monday, April 12.
This week we will focus in particular on not just that Christ died for our sins (His crucifixion) but gave us victory over death and the hope of eternal life through His resurrection from the dead. Please encourage your child to discuss this essential truth with you. I do pray that this coming weekend will renew in you as families the significance of Christ’s substitutionary death for us. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Dear First Grade Parents,
The GCS Art Festival is coming up on April 19. Please be sure your calendars are marked for that evening. As a class we are busily preparing to start our project for the festival and need your help.
We will be making paper mache globes. Plentiful parental supervision would be much appreciated by me. We will do the paper mache (around a balloon) on the first day and then paint them on the second day. Please return the attached slip to me ASAP if you can help us. Thank you in advance for your sacrifice of time.
Also, please have your child bring in an old oversized T-shirt in a Ziploc bag no later than Monday, March 22. The children will wear them to protect their clothing. THANKS!!
Rejoicing in His service,
Shirley Mollica

Thank you so much to those of you who came on Feb. 26 to hear about the ministry in Italy with Mr. Stanisci and my son Massimo. We are excited that the truth of the gospel is getting into the nation of Italy and pray that the Lord would use them as part of a team to be used for the salvation of many souls.
Please be sure your calendars are marked for next Monday, March 15. It’s the GCS Walk-A-Thon! School will be dismissed at 12 noon that day. Please let me know if you would like to send in drinks or cookies or anything else to supplement our meal. Also, the children do not need any other lunch that day.
This week we are particularly emphasizing in Bible how the Lord can work in our lives if we are willing to follow Him. The story of Zaccheus is a personal favorite of mine because it shows God’s amazing power to change lives. Please help your children understand this power is for them as well. Please let me know how I can pray for you and your families.
